GSC to Host Appalachian Studies Conference
Glenville State College will host the 2018 Appalachian Studies Conference on Thursday, November 15. The conference will take place at The Pioneer Stage (10 East Main Street, Downtown Glenville) and will begin at 8:00 a.m.
Jessica Lilly to Present at GSC
On Thursday, November 15 Jessica Lilly will visit Glenville State College as a part of the ongoing “We, too, are Appalachia” project. The series of performances and presentations, made possible by Glenville State College and the West Virginia Humanities Council, are an exploration of identity and place regarding rural West Virginia.
Popular YouTuber to Perform at GSC
On Friday, November 9 at 7:00 p.m. the Glenville State College Jazz Band will be sponsoring a concert featuring Derek Brown. The concert will take place in the GSC Fine Arts Center Auditorium. The concert is also free to the public courtesy of the GSC Jazz Program.
GSC Science Fiction and Fantasy Guild to Host Silent Auction
Glenville State College’s Science Fiction and Fantasy Guild student organization will be hosting their second annual silent auction fundraiser. The auction will take place on the first floor of the Robert F. Kidd Library on Tuesday, October 30 and Wednesday, October 31.
Lindsey Goodman to Perform Solo Recital at GSC
Flutist Lindsey Goodman will hold a solo recital of “21st Century Visions for Flute” at Glenville State College on Thursday, October 25 at 7:00 p.m. in the Fine Arts Center Auditorium.
