Glenville State University’s Pioneer Showcase begins today, April 11, in the Mollohan Center Ballroom by students showcasing their work throughout the day with oral presentations/research posters running from 8 a.m.-4 p.m. The showcase is an annual event that gives students the opportunity to share their research and creative work with a broader audience. There will be two sets of presentations, all based on a diversity of content including Honors, Business, Criminal Justice, Independent work, Visual Arts, Land Resources, Social Sciences, Science and Math. Poster sessions will be from 10:00 a.m. through 12:00 p.m. 

This year’s event also includes outside Special Guest Speakers Sasha Hibbs, Author of Young Adult Literature at 10 a.m., Timothy Hibbs, founder and President of The Infamous Art Collective at 10:30 a.m. and finally Dr. Stephen DiFazio, “Empowering your Research Career with the National Science Foundation” at  p.m.  

The last presentation/research poster will end at 4 o’clock. The Announcement of Awards will occur at 4:30 p.m. This is a fun, free and informative event that’s open to the public.
