GSC Land Resources Student Interns at Burnsville Lake
Senior Land Resources student, Brian Carson, is applying what he has learned through his courses to an internship at the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Burnsville Lake Project with the Student Conservation Association this summer.
Home Grown Initiative Expanding to all 55 Counties
GSC's Home Grown Initiative is focused on prospective teacher identification in the county schools partnered with scholarship support for candidate attendance at GSC, practical experiences, and mentoring during teacher preparation into the start of full-time teaching. The goal is for those students to return to their home counties to student teach and, if available, be able to apply for open positions in their home district.

Glenville State College Associate Professor of English Dr. Marjorie Stewart has been featured in a free, open-source textbook for composition courses that has been nearly ten years in the making.
