Premium Night Scheduled for September 17 at GSC
The public is invited to Mollohan’s Restaurant at Glenville State College on Thursday, September 17 from 4:30 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. for September’s Premium Night.
Free Income Tax Preparation Assistance Available at GSC
Due to issues related to COVID-19, the in-person tax assistance at GSC will not be available this tax season. The online MyFreeTaxes option is still available however (see article for more information on this option).
Annual Percussion Ensemble Tickets on sale March 2
Tickets for the 40th annual Glenville State College Percussion Ensemble will go on sale on Monday, March 2 at 8:00 a.m. Concerts will be held on Thursday, April 2 and Friday, April 3 at 7:00 p.m. in the GSC Fine Arts Center Auditorium.
Third Annual Trillium Art Show is February 18-28
The Glenville State College Department of Language and Literature and the Department of Fine Arts will be hosting the 3rd Annual Trillium Art Show. Artwork from contributors to the forthcoming 2020 issue of the Trillium will be on display in the Fine Arts Center Gallery from February 18 to February 28.
Attend the SPBGMA 46th Annual Bluegrass Music Awards with GSC
Everyone is invited to attend the Society for the Preservation of Bluegrass Music of America’s (SPBGMA) 46th Annual Bluegrass Music Awards and National Convention. Sponsored by Glenville State College’s Pioneer Stage Bluegrass Music Education Center, a bus trip to the convention is available for community members wishing to attend.
Ring in the New Year at the Pioneer Stage
Everyone is invited to the Pioneer Stage on Tuesday, December 31 beginning at 6:00 p.m. for a New Year’s Eve Party. The event will include board games, food, jam sessions, and of course watching the ball drop on live television. Community members are asked to bring a covered dish.
Final Call for Submissions for the 2020 GSC Trillium
The Trillium, Glenville State College’s literary and arts journal, is still accepting submissions for the 2020 issue. All GSC students, staff, faculty, alumni, and community members are invited to submit visual art, poetry, fiction, song lyrics, and other forms of creative expression.
