Programs

Glenville State University has a 150 year history of preparing highly qualified teachers to serve the communities of West Virginia.

We are proud to be able to offer graduate programs in Education. This is the natural next step for an educator, to continue on the path of being a lifelong learner.

Graduate classes will be different for you as a learner than your undergraduate classes. Please take the time to immerse yourself in your readings and to actively reflect on yourself as a teacher and your classes.

The Master of Arts in Curriculum and Instruction will provide you with an opportunity for a richer appreciation of the craft of teaching. After accomplishing the degree, you will be prepared to continue to impact our students’ lives and open yourself to other opportunities in your district, in higher education, or in state or federal levels of education policy and administration.
