Northeast College Doctor of Chiropractic Qualifications

Northeast College of Health Sciences located in New York offers the Doctor of Chiropractic program at their main campus in Seneca Falls (start dates in September, January, and May) and at their branch campus on Long Island (start date in September). Northeast guarantees admission for all Glenville State University graduates of the Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences with Pre-Chiropractic concentration who maintain the minimum grade and cumulative GPA requirements. Student pursuing a bachelor degree in another field which satisfies all entrance requirements are also eligible.

  • Submit a Letter of Intent within your first two years to the Office of Admission of Northeast College of Health Sciences listing your expected entrance date
  • Attain an overall cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
    • Students entering with 3.0 – 3.499 cumulative GPA are automatically awarded a Northeast merit scholarship valued at $2,000.
    • Students entering with a 3.5 or higher cumulative GPA are automatically awarded a Northeast merit scholarship valued at $3,000.
    • Candidates who have a grade point average of 2.75 to 2.99 may be considered for admission under Northeast’s alternative admission criteria consistent with the Council of Chiropractic Education’s guidance.
  • Earn a minimum of “C” in 24 credits of life and physical sciences with at least half of these courses with a laboratory component. Health Sciences with Pre-Chiropractic has these credits embedded in the major. Students completing another bachelor degree may need to take additional science courses using elective credit hours.
  • Complete the online application one year in advance of your entrance date and complete all Northeast application requirement. Last minute applications with qualifying grades will be accepted provided availability for the requested start date.
